GROC Member-at-large,
- Offer insights and perspectives on strategic decisions and initiatives
- Advocate for the organization’s cause in the community
- Assist in community outreach efforts to promote our mission
- Collaborate with other members to achieve specific objectives or initiatives
- Provide general support to the board and fellow members
CEC Co-chairperson
- Provide visionary leadership of CEC
- An active Member-at-Large on the Board of Directors
- Plan, organize, and execute community events, outreach programs, and initiatives
- Coordinate logistics, enlist volunteers, and ensure successful event outcomes
- Network with other individuals and organizations to build partnerships
- Manage public relations activities, including media relations and social media presence
CEC members/volunteers
- Attend and actively participate in CEC meetings and activities
- Assist in planning, organizing, and executing community events and outreach programs
- Contribute ideas, insights, and feedback during discussions
- Support logistics, set-up, and coordination during events
- Act as a liaison between GROC and the community
Bike Patrol
- Provide on-site support during events to ensure a safe and enjoyable biking experience
- Provide first aid assistance to injured riders or individuals on the trails
- Act as a point of contact for riders in distress or emergencies
- Offer assistance, guidance, and information about trail and trail etiquette
Educate trail users about safety practices and responsible riding behavior
Trail Crew Volunteers
- Assist in building and enhancing trails following established design and construction guidelines
- Collaborate with experienced trail builders and follow sustainable construction practices
- Clear debris, trim vegetation, and repair erosion/wear and tear to ensure safe and sustainable trails
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines when handling equipment, such as rogue hoe, shovel, etc.
- Share knowledge and best practices with fellow volunteers and the community
